GSC Game World has announced that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl will be released on September 5, 2024. It appears that the game has once again been delayed; previously, the developers had aimed for an early 2024 release.
According to the developers, they have been working diligently to arrange the release in the first quarter of the year. However, they realized that they were unable to address all the ‘technical imperfections’ in time, causing the game to fall ‘below expected standards for the final version.’
More details about S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 are promised to be revealed throughout 2024. The release will be available on PC (Steam, EGS, GOG) and Xbox Series, including Game Pass.
