With version 4.1 of Genshin Impact just around the corner, HoYoverse has started promoting characters who will soon be featured in banners. Start saving Primogems for the Hydro Archon and the “Steam Bird” reporter—they are expected to become available in the banner after the upcoming update, following a tradition.
Let’s take a closer look at the heroines:
- Furina—the Hydro Archon and the “mistress of all waters, people, races, and laws,” who Travelers have encountered during their adventures. In Fontaine, everyone adores Furina ever since she became an Archon. However, behind her divine charm and unparalleled drama lies profound loneliness. In battle, the ruler of Fontaine relies on the water element, but the developers have not yet revealed the type of weapon she wields.
- Charlotte—another familiar face to the main characters. This cheerful and determined girl is a journalist for the “Steam Bird” newspaper and is willing to go to great lengths for exclusive material. “With her loyal partner, Mister Verite, she tirelessly circles Fontaine to fulfill her reporter’s duty—to uncover the truth lurking in the shadows,” as described by HoYoverse. The heroine commands the Cryo element.
Additionally, the developers have released banners for the first half of patch 4.1 (until October 17):
Characters: Nevelette (Hydro), Hu Tao (Pyro), Fischl (Electro), Xingqiu (Hydro), and Diona (Cryo).
Weapons: Catalyst “Ritual of Eternal Flow,” polearm “Staff of Homa,” bow “Night’s Nirvana Waltz,” Favonius polearm, Favonius catalyst, and two new weapons—a one-handed sword “Shipyard” and a claymore “Portable Saw.”
Update 4.1 is set to arrive in Genshin Impact on September 27. It will continue the storyline related to Fontaine’s judicial system, alter daily tasks, and more. Additionally, HoYoverse will distribute gifts to all users in celebration of the game’s third anniversary.
